  • Flexibility measures related to COVID-19

The Québec Parental Insurance Plan (QPIP) is putting measures in place to relax the requirements for workers who want to interrupt or defer their parental leave in order to go back to work during the public health emergency related to COVID-19. For more information, see the related press release. If you would like to take advantage of this measure, please call the Centre de service à la clientèle du RQAP.

If you have received all of the QPIP benefits to which you were entitled, you cannot go back to work and you want to know what kind of financial assistance you can receive, visit Québec.ca/coronavirus to see the measures and programs offered by the Gouvernement du Québec.

Update

On March 28, 2020, the Gouvernement du Québec announced a flexibility measure for workers who want to interrupt or defer their parental leave in order to go back to work and help out in the public health emergency related to COVID-19. If you would like to take advantage of this measure, please call the Centre de service à la clientèle du RQAP.

The Ministère du Travail, de l’Emploi et de la Solidarité sociale is currently carrying out a survey in its 5 call centres to measure client satisfaction with telephone services. This includes the QPIP call centre. A firm is carrying out the survey for us.

If you telephone us, you could be asked to participate in the survey, which will take place at the end of the call. It is a short survey and takes less than 5 minutes. Your answers are important and will help us improve services.

Your Relevé 6 and T4E tax slips, which are required to file your Québec income tax return and federal income tax return, are now available in your online file. You can consult, download and print the slips as needed.

These tax slips are sent to individuals who, between January 1 and December 31, received parental insurance benefits or reimbursed an overpayment of benefits during that time.

If you asked to receive them by mail, they will be sent to you from January 27, 2020.
