RSS feeds

The QPIP has an RSS feed service. Subscribe now to keep up to date on news, events and new publications of regional or Québec-wide interest. The service is free.

What is an RSS feed?

RSS means “really simple syndication”. RSS feeds use a page markup language based on the XML standard.

An RSS feed reader (news aggregator) is used to display an information preview without you having to go to the website where the information is provided.

Several aggregators are available, free of charge, on the Internet. Some aggregators must be downloaded and installed on your computer, others can be used directly on certain websites and others are built into Web browsers. To find the tool that's right for you, you can search the Internet, using keywords like “RSS reader” or “RSS aggregator”.
