However, you may apply to have your benefit amount re-evaluated sooner . To do so, start by asking your employer to give you an amended Record of Employment. As soon as you receive it, you can request the re-evaluation by:

Access the “Income declaration” section of your online file. Declare this amount under “Other income” in the “Income type” column, specifying that it is pay equity. This income must be declared for the week it was received.
No, the amount of your parental insurance benefits will not be reduced for the week you received the retroactive pay increase.
